Free-agent catcher Yasmani Grandal has agreed to a one-year deal with the Brewers, MLB.com’s Jon Paul Morosi reported on Wednesday night. The club has not confirmed the deal, which would be pending a physical.

MLB Network insider Ken Rosenthal was the first to report the agreement, which a number of reports have pegged at $18.25 million.

Grandal, 30, is a seven-year veteran, having spent the past four seasons with the Dodgers. In 2018, he slashed .241/.349/.466 with 24 homers and 68 RBIs.
